Jaci's Sabi House has a commitment to nurturing local talent. All our staff have undergone extensive training to broaden their skill sets with an eye on greater things. Our team are all passionate about the lodge and what they do. There are no fake smiles at Jaci's Sabi House, each one is from the heart and our staff are genuinely pleased to have guests visit what they feel is their home. Training teaches skills, but passion comes from within and it only takes a short while at the lodge to realize how passionate the people that make it happen are.

From humble beginnings, Dimpho has faced challenges head-on and blossomed into our dynamic and professional house manager and private chef. Key to her success has been her sheer determination to progress in her chosen field, her creative cooking, energetic disposition as well as passionate understanding of the hospitality industry and guest requirements.

Dimpho's food is the epitome of South African flavour and flair, always innovative and using local and seasonal ingredients as the hero's of her dishes. Her can-do attitude, positive disposition and knack for guest-relations enables patrons of all ages to fully experience what South African hospitality is all about.

Refiloe and Vulani are in charge of housekeeping and ensuring that your rooms are always glistening.

Herbeth and Chris are the guide and tracker team that will fill your head with more bush knowledge that you could ever hope for. Both Herbeth and Chris have an unrivalled empathy for the bush and a deep seated passion for what they do. Their eagerness is most apparent in their desire to share the wealth of their accumulated knowledge.

The bubbly Thapello, a journalist by training and education, runs our front office and acts as your personal butler during your stay. An infectious smile and laugh are his trade in stock and his mischievous sense of humour never fails to captivate.
